MASSAGE THERAPY

Michelle is currently on Maternity Leave

Registered massage therapists are health professionals trained to manipulate the soft tissues of the body, including connective tissue, tendons, ligaments and joints. RMTs work with various health concerns, injuries and disabilities, aiding with soft tissue discomfort due to injury, everyday stresses, and pain conditions.

Massage therapy can help with acute and chronic pain, stress relief, headache and migraines, inflammatory conditions such as arthritis and tendinitis, TMJ, back pain, pregnancy discomforts, post injury and surgical rehabilitation.

Whether for a preventative approach, to treat an injury, or to support your nervous system with stress release and relaxation, your practitioner will apply various massage techniques and custom pressure levels to treat localized and compensating muscle groups. They will also provide a treatment plan (the recommended number of sessions), educate you about your condition, and suggest preventive care.
